NEW! Client name visibility - Improving broker and insurer interaction

In an exciting update, Broker Insights VisionTM now gives regional brokers the option to make their clients’ names visible to their chosen partner insurers and MGAs. We are currently launching this new feature to our regional brokers, and we will be rolling it out to our large brokers soon.  

This new feature will unlock an important data point to help improve the interaction between insurers and brokers. 

Insurers and MGAs will be able to undertake pre-engagement checks against the data held within the system including:   

  • Prior quote history 
  • Adherence to trading protocols  
  • Improved peril checks. e.g. flood and crime 

How does it work? 

Regional brokers are being informed about the addition of the feature and the benefit that this will bring to their trading relationships. Our Broker Relationship Managers have been supporting brokers to activate the feature for their chosen insurers and MGAs.  

Once a broker grants access, client names will automatically update in the insurer/MGA’s view on both the Prospect Search and Prospect Workflow screens.  

Prospect Search  

When using the Prospect Search screen, you will now see an additional data field for Client Name, which will either show the name of the client, or a message to say that the broker hasn’t yet revealed it to you.

Prospect Workflow  

Within the Prospect Workflow screen, an additional column has been added which will display the Client Name against each opportunity if the broker has chosen to reveal it to you.

Encouraging brokers to share client names 

We are encouraging our brokers to engage with this feature and expose more data to drive a better quality of interaction between them and their insurer and MGA partners. It is ultimately the broker’s decision, and we expect that some will want to have a discussion with their insurer or MGA relationship managers before they agree to reveal client names.   

The feature can be switched on immediately and will then be accessible to insurers and MGAs when they next log in to the platform.
