More and more commonly, we’re seeing “data” labelled as a solution to many business problems. While Broker Insights too use data, it’s our insights that help provide solutions, and create clear pathways for achieving your business goals.  

For context, let’s consider definitions (according to the Cambridge Dictionary): 

Data – facts and numbers, collected to be examined and considered [and used to help decision-making] 

Insight – a clear, deep and sometimes sudden understanding of a complicated problem [or situation] 

The difference matters because raw data is exactly that – information lacking context or explanation. Insights, on the other hand, make the data make sense, providing understanding and allowing conclusions to be drawn.
