Broker Insights Maintains ISO 27001 Certification

Broker Insights is delighted to announce the successful maintenance of its ISO 27001 certification for Information Security Management Systems (ISMS) following a successful audit by the British Assessment Bureau. 

ISO 27001 is the internationally leading best practice standard for information security management and operations. Maintaining this certification marks five years since Broker Insights initially achieved the world-class standard.  

Broker Insights Risk and Compliance Officer, Scott Dickson, explains why this certification is so important to the business. 

“Maintaining the ISO 27001 certification is key to Broker Insights’ business strategy and marks a significant milestone in the company’s continued growth and unwavering commitment to maintaining the highest standard of information security. The certification demonstrates our dedication to the ongoing review and continuous improvement of our ISMS framework.   

“Data is vital to the services we offer, enabling us to provide unique functionalities on our platform. By retaining this prestigious certification, we reinforce trust among our partners, employees, and customers, assuring them that their data remains secure. 

“In providing assurance to our customers that we store and handle their information safely, the certification also helps us demonstrate adherence to some of our regulatory requirements, reduces risk and drives continuous improvement of our policies and procedures when handling all types of data.” 

Scott went on to talk about what maintaining the certification demonstrates about the culture and future growth of Broker Insights: 

“Certification for ISO 27001 is carried out by the British Assessment Bureau. We have been audited annually over the past two years to provide assurance that we are maintaining high standards for information security management. The recent audit required us to demonstrate the effectiveness of our controls across our entire ISMS. 

“Embedding and enhancing processes to ensure high standards of information security are being met can only be achieved if everyone in the business adopts a culture that supports confidentiality and protection of data. It’s testament to the dedication of our people and Management Team that we have been certified to such a high standard. 

“It’s a proud moment for us to be able to continue to showcase our ISO 27001 certification status and be able to continue to develop the framework as Broker Insights continues to grow.” 

The continued certification is subject to annual audits carried out by the British Assessment Bureau, ensuring we consistently demonstrate the effectiveness of our information security controls.
