Being an active member of the communities in which we live and work has always been a key consideration for Broker Insights.
Throughout 2022, members of staff have given up over 400 hours of their working weeks to good causes within their communities. Some of the charities they have contributed to include; MCR Pathways, which provides mentoring to high school children, Nurture Steps, which works with families of children with autism and other neurodevelopmental conditions, and Help for Kids, which provides funding for basic necessities for children who would otherwise go without.
In the run-up to Christmas 2022, members of our team have been donating to and volunteering to help package and distribute presents for a local children’s toy appeal. An initiative that is close to the hearts of our staff and one that Broker Insights has also supported as a business, donating £1,000 to this year’s appeal. The donation will be used to buy Christmas gifts for children who would otherwise wake up to nothing on Christmas morning – a reality that is sadly exacerbated by the current cost of living pressures.
We have decided as a team to send our festive greetings electronically, and instead provide funding to local initiatives such as Help for Kids. So, while we may not be sending physical Christmas Cards this year, I’m sure that you will all support the reallocation of resources into worthwhile causes.
We wish you all a very merry Christmas and a Happy New Year!
