Broker Insights Unveils Next Generation VISION Platform

Dundee, UK, 8th April, 2025 – Broker Insights, the leading provider of insurance data analytics and market insights, has announced a pivotal evolution of its award-winning insurance decision intelligence platform, Broker Insights VISION™.

2024 marked a period of record growth for Broker Insights, with Gross Written Premium (GWP) within the VISION platform increasing by 87% in just twelve months. What began in 2018 as a simple prospecting tool, managing around £20m in GWP, has now evolved into a powerhouse, managing over £6bn GWP — representing more than one-third of the UK market.

Since its inception, VISION has continuously advanced, attracting regional brokers, larger brokers, and networks seeking to drive operational efficiency and optimise placement, and insurers and MGAs keen to strengthen their connection with the broker market.

A Platform Built to Support Future Innovation

Today’s announcement marks the fourth major iteration of VISION, and includes new functionality to significantly improve connectivity between brokers and insurers.

Broker Insights embarked on a full re-architecture of VISION to create a more scalable, efficient, and future-proofed platform. The project consolidates multiple technologies into a single, streamlined system – unlocking greater efficiency and paving the way for future innovation.

VISION for Insurers will be the first release within the deployment, providing insurer and MGA partners with a more intuitive user experience. From launch, they will benefit from new features, including linked policy views for deeper insights and broader application of appetite guidance. Brokers will gain access in the following months, with further enhancements planned to improve engagement, performance, and efficiency for all users.

Broker Insights Chief Executive Officer, Peter Scott, explained:

“The goal wasn’t a complete overhaul of the user interface, but rather, to refine the look and feel and make the experience more intuitive. Our primary focus has been on creating a scalable, unified infrastructure that supports rapid future development and adapts to the evolving needs of our partners and the market, providing a solid foundation for long-term growth. And this is just the beginning — our roadmap includes ground-breaking new capabilities that we’ll be unveiling soon.”
