Broker Insights, the leading data and distribution platform that connects UK insurance brokers and insurance companies, has appointed Barbara Miller to the newly-created post of Head of Broker Engagement.
Barbara has a 20-year career in financial services and IT companies, including running her own sales and marketing business for insurance brokers. Most recently, she was Group Head of Sales Operations for Clear Insurance Management.
In September, Broker Insights announced that six years after launch, brokers have uploaded £5.5 billion of Gross Written Premium (GWP) to its Vision platform and are on target to hit £6 billion by the end of the year – representing more than one-third of the UK commercial insurance market.
In her new role, Barbara will be responsible for working closely with UK insurance brokers to help them fully utilise Vision to optimise their placement strategy and engage efficiently with partner insurers.

Six years on from launch, Dundee-based Broker Insights now employs more than 60 staff.
