All customer data is safely protected in our Vision platform, which are cloud-based software-as-a-service models. These are securely hosted in the UK by our cloud partner (Amazon AWS) and protected by their first-class security and data governance standards.
We use SSL encryption to ensure all communication between customer and server is protected end-to-end. We make use of the encrypted transfer weekly, giving a clean and accurate view of data.
As part of the data uploading process, Broker Insights cleanses and enriches the risk data before making it visible on the platform. We interpret renewal risk data from over an estimated 1,600 different business class descriptions, streamlining them into 132 standardised classes.
MatchPoints™️ relates to the platform’s ability to overlay the broker’s renewal risk data with an insurer’s appetite to create intelligent matches between parties.
Yes, broker data is anonymised within the insurer platform, with client details being replaced with unique identifiers. Within a broker’s own platform environment, data is not anonymised, allowing staff to easily identify client renewals.
Broker Insights uses brokers’ anonymised aggregated data set to provide partner insurers with market trends and insight into opportunities. Our insurer and MGA partners realise significant efficiency gains via the Vision platform with our insurer partners paying a transactional fee to Broker Insights on the placement of new business which is passed onto our broker partners. For a broker to receive fees, they need to regularly upload their data, support and drive the usage of Vison within their business and actively collaborate with our partner insurers.
Our Vision Enterprise solution for larger brokers and networks, along with our Vision Insurers and Vision MGA platforms, is licensed, with each implementation configured to meet the broker’s or network’s individual requirements and customised for their markets. Prices are available upon request.
For brokers using the free core product, Vision, there is no commitment to place a certain amount of business with our insurer and MGA partners. We only ask that data is regularly uploaded and you acknowledge any MatchPoints™️ received. For all other broker, insurer and MGA users, individual commitments will be agreed at the contract stage.
